DESCRIPTION:
Because of a highly publicized 1993 Federal Court victory in a franchise case against S. B. Thomas, Inc. (of English muffin fame), I have a developed an interest in franchise law. I often successfully represent franchisees against large franchise companies and the powerful law firms they hire.
In March of 2005 I represented a fork lift dealership which had been terminated by a German forklift manufacturer. A jury awarded my client $1,672,000.00 after a four day trial.
I do much more than franchise law though. I help people start franchises and other businesses. I make sure that they operate those businesses legally. I help them lease or buy property. I form corporations and LLCs that operate the businesses. I negotiate the contracts and litigate the lawsuits that inevitably arise in business. Also, when my clients need personal representation such as wills, residential real estate closings or if they get into an accident, I handle those cases. If a problem falls outside of my practice area, I find my clients expert help from a wide circle of acquaintances in the legal profession.
Please call me or send me an email if you have a legal question or problem. I want to help you.
